PIPATCHARA is a boutique luxury accessories brand founded by Thai sisters Pipatchara and Jittrinee Kaeojinda in 2018. The brand mixes high-end design with more traditional techniques (like macramé) and influences from the world of indigenous arts and crafts. In late 2019/ early 2020, PIPATCHARA asked Y+L Projects to help with the creation of their Japanese e-commerce site and to create a video for the brand pop up store launch at Shibuya’s Seibu department store. PIPATCHARAは、Pipatcharaと彼女の姉である Jittrinee によって設立されたラグジュアリーなアクセサリーブランド。2人は芸術と工芸の世界に強い関心を持っており、特に「結び紐」の技術を使って作られた美しい織物「マクラメ」の技術は、最初のコレクションにインスピレーションをもたらしました。
Y+L Projectsは、日本におけるeコマースサイトの立ち上げと、西武渋谷店のポップアップイベント向けた映像制作を行いました。


Y+L Projects designed, built and launched a homepage specially crafted for the conscientious Japanese consumer and crafted an event video for multi-platform use. By using photo assets delivered to Y+L Projects by PIPATCHARA, we created a Japanese homepage with text localized for a Japanese audience and clean interface and online store that’s easy to navigate and links seamlessly into the global Pipatchara global homepage. We also joined the PIPATCHARA’s pop-up launch at Shibuya’s Seibu department store to create a post-event promotional video. The outcome was a one-minute long video featuring footage pre and during the event as well narration from Pipatchara Kaeojinda (with Japanese subtitles) that could be used for promotional purposes and easily adapted for social media if wanted. PIPATCHARAの写真素材、そして、日本人向けにローカライズされたコピーを用い、シンプルかつスタイリッシュなUI/UXで、ブランドの世界観を存分に感じていただけるようなウェブサイトを制作。ウェブサイトは運営しやすいように、すべてShopifyで構築されています。
西武渋谷店にオープンしたポップアップストアでは、妹のPipatchara Kaeojindaによるナレーション(日本語字幕付き)を収録した1分のプロモーションビデオを制作しました。
